Ned just a quick message to say how much I am enjoying Seastones. I’ve long searched for the Rykodisc CD edition from 1990 but I’m glad that I never did find a copy, now that the album is back in print again, and in some considerable style: expanded, improved and sounding absolutely phenomenal.

My advice to anyone who has the old Rykodisc CD, or the Round Records LP (and indeed the glitchy mp3 rip that’s been going around these past few years) would be to grab a copy of the 2-disc edition from Ned’s store - as well as the huge improvements in sound quality, the album comes in a beautiful fold out digipak adorned with gorgeous new artwork and fascinating liner notes about the work, plus detailed information on the album’s personnel and instrumentation. A modular synth masterpiece, the album is essential for fans of electronic and experimental music, and indeed Grateful Dead fans.
